I am a traveler and not a tourist.  This distinction has made all the difference in guiding my clients to the perfect trip for them. I know that connecting a destination with a particular person is not merely making a booking but in fact customizing the journey.

Travel is my passion.  Prior to becoming a travel agent, I had arranged numerous trips and cruises for family members and friends, and this skill has evolved into my business, Where To Next, an Affiliate of MG Travel, a Vacation.Com agency.  With my husband, Don, we have traveled in much of the US, as well as many countries in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Mexico, and the South Pacific.  I do know the importance of personalized client service and am dedicated to making my clients’ travel, “a best-ever experience.”  I know that anyone can book online, but for a truly dream vacation, an experienced agent is what you need, one who has professional contacts who offer special amenities and pricing not available online.

In addition, I have worked closely with San Diego ASTA since I began my travel career, and as of September 2011, I have become San Diego ASTA chapter president.  In that regard, I feel that my professional status is enhanced, networking with other agents in the fields of education and advocacy.

Working with MG Travel under the guidance of Sally McKay, Agency Owner, it is my goal to increase my travel sales, targeting senior travelers as my specialty, furthering my experience with this growing area.
